Participation in the KVK Innovation Top 100 gives your business and your innovation recognition and visibility. Among other things, you will be called up on stage at the award ceremony in November 2025. And your business name will appear as a winner in articles, press releases, and on social media.
Previous participants say that because of the competition, they were able to expand their network with, for example, potential business partners. Participation can also generate more website traffic and customers as a nomination in the KVK Innovation Top 100 conveys a trustworthy image.
Any entrepreneur who has launched an innovative product or service and whose business or foundation is registered in the KVK Business Register can enter the competition. The following applies to the innovation: your product is new, distinctive, and makes a positive impact. Your product must also have been launched on the market. New in 2025: turnover is no longer a requirement. This means that start-ups can also participate.
Every category will be rewarded with two prices;
And the best innovation of all entries will be awarded as the winner of the KVK Innovation top 100.
You can register from 14 April to 1 August 2025. We will announce the 100 nominees of the KVK Innovation Top 100 in mid-September. They will be notified by KVK. From then on, the nominees can start recruiting public votes. We will announce the winners in mid-November.

No, participation in the KVK Innovation Top 100 is free of charge. Attending the award ceremony in November is also free of charge.
We ask for your name, email address, telephone number, the KVK number of your business, and the innovation you are entering into the competition. Consider the impact it makes, its distinctiveness, and several other criteria.

We will keep you informed by email about your registration and the course of the competition.
The jury will assess the innovation on originality, impact on the category, its contribution to society, and entrepreneurship. The jury will award points to your entry based on these criteria. See the explanation of the jury assessment.
Proposition: how new and original is the combination of the product/service, market, technology, and organisation? Is it a unique idea your business came up with and not an adaptation of an already existing idea? Is your idea protected by patent law, for example?
Distinctiveness: what features make your product or service different from similar products or services?
When registering, try to be as specific and detailed as possible in answering these questions.
Support your entry with numbers if you have them. This will help the jury to make an appropriate assessment. Do not use too much jargon. After all, your entry is the basis for a description on the website. With that description, you will later attract public votes.
We have set up a professional jury with experts for each category. These include a professional journalist, a former participant in the KVK Innovation Top100 and/or an expert from the sector or industry. They are aware of the latest innovations on the market and have the knowledge to assess the innovation on the defined criteria.
