Concord Neonatal winner of the KVK Innovatie Top 100 2024

Concord Neonatal was named the most innovative SME business in the Netherlands on Saterday 16 November in Rotterdam Ahoy. They won with their technology that helps stabilise newborn babies. During the 19e edition of the KVK Innovatie Top 100, a total of 5 Dutch SME companies were awarded gold in various categories. The winners are: HackShield Future Cyber Heroes from Utrecht (labour market and society), FashionPower from Zundert (circulaire economy), Newton Energy Solutions from Delft (energytransition), SnackFuture from De Bilt (foot, watr and infrastrucure) and Concord Neonatal from Leiden (health and care).

Concord Neonatal aims to set a new standard in healthcare for childbirth and give newborns the best possible start. One in 10 babies has problems at birth, affecting more than 35,000 newborns per day worldwide. The Concord Birth Flow offers an innovative solution to stabilise or resuscitate newborns with the umbilical cord intact, close to the mother. The jury, chaired by innovator Ruud winning the KVK Innovation Top 100 do for Concord Neonatal? CEO Rianne Rotink explains, "This award is a wonderful recognition of our mission and the impact we are making in neonatal care. It has helped us share our story more widely and reach even more healthcare providers and (future) parents."
